Using the Pump - Basics

Basal patterns

Warning: You should receive specific training on

programming and using basal patterns. Please

carefully read all instructions and talk to your health-

care provider.

These settings should be programmed before you

actually program (edit) the individual basal patterns.

The pump allows up to 4 basal patterns, each of which

can contain up to 48 time/rate “segments.” In this

menu, you can choose which patterns you want dis-

played in Basal Pattern in the main menu, and also

select a name for each pattern (included here is a list of

preselected names; if you want to create a name, you

will need to use My Treatment Assistant
